Software Engineer – CI/CD Pipeline, Automation, and Deployment Infrastructure

Description:

This role presents an exciting opportunity for IC Engineers with a strong passion for crafting robust and scalable CI/CD infrastructures. If you thrive on the challenge of constructing seamlessly integrated systems and streamlining efficient pipelines, then this role is tailor-made for you. Join our team in advancing various security initiatives through the development and maintenance of CI/CD pipeline; supporting automated testing for our security components on Linux and Windows platforms. It's an excellent chance for proactive individuals to showcase their innovative, creative, and collaborative skills. As you progress, you'll transition into a Subject Matter Expert (SME) role, responsible for supporting the software you version, package (RPM/NuGet), and deploy.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain, design, and implement new functionality for our CI/CD pipeline which is responsible for deploying security software to our customers.

  • The successful candidate will handle all software versioning, testing, and build environments; and the possible automation of the process

  • Utilize expertise in C, C++, Python, or Java to automate or extend existing CI/CD pipelines

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of systems and effective communication within the team.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in C, C++, Python, or Java.

  • Proven success maintaining, developing, and supporting CI/CD infrastructures

  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate complex topics to non-experts.

  • Demonstrated track record of creatively solving complex problems and building infrastructure from the ground up.

  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in collaborative team environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Creative Software Design Engineers in Test (SDE/Ts) highly preferrable

  • Excellent Windows or Linux knowledge at the power-user or experienced scripter level

  • Proven ability to build systems that seamlessly interoperate and function as pipelines to achieve desired goals.
