Oracle Software Developer 5 in BENGALURU, India

Job Description

Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.

The Oracle Health organization is building a modern healthcare ecosystem with a robust API layer to facilitate third-party integrations. We're actively seeking skilled developers to spearhead the creation of the next-generation API platform and deliver a world-class developer experience for users of Oracle Health APIs. As a member of our engineering team, you'll play a pivotal role in expanding our API catalog's scope, propelling the API store's evolution, and elevating developer tooling and engagement. You'll collaborate with API producers across Oracle Health to establish and automate a standardized API definition, documentation, and publication approach. Furthermore, you'll engage with API consumers to ensure the smooth and effective discovery of APIs, enable robust developer engagement and support, facilitate seamless system integration, and ensure successful customer delivery. Our overarching goal is to foster top-tier product integrations for Oracle Health partners and clients.

Oracle Health product portfolio contains 60+ unique applications and platforms, and lifecycle management (day 0 deployment + patching/upgrades) is heavily manual across the board. Existing status also leads to high 3rd party spend and poor successful (zero touch installs) rates (which in turn lead to poor customer satisfaction and low feature adoption). Our team is hiring experienced Software Development engineers to help build automation to 1) move healthcare applications to OCI. 2) automate lifecycle management on OCI through native services. 3) eliminate 3rd party spend by moving internal (Developer) workloads to OCI in FY24. 4) build native services to deploy and manage Millennium Gen2 applications. Having end to end low level automation is at the backbone of most of OHAI & Oracle's strategic goals for healthcare, an enabler. It is critical to hire experienced engineers in Q2 to build automation required to scale migrations, improve customer satisfaction, and launch Gen2 Apps with a fully automated echo system. It will also help us eliminate 3rd party spend in this space before FY25.
