Oracle's Construction and Engineering global business unit is the leading global provider of SaaS Enterprise Project Portfolio Management (EPPM) solutions. EPPM leaders and executive stakeholders across all industries rely on Oracle’s Primavera solutions to improve strategy execution, operations, and financial performance. We are looking for a Development Manager for our development team in Bengaluru, IDC.

13 + years of experience in product developmentAtleast 5+ years of experience in managing a development team.Responsible for the overall development life cycle of the solution and manage complex projects with significant bottom line impactWork with product managers in developing a strategy and road map to provide compelling capabilities in the product.Work closely with senior engineers to develop the best technical design and approach for new product development.Instill best practices for software development and documentation, assure designs meet requirements, and deliver high-quality work on tight schedules.Project management - prioritization , planning of projects and features, Stakeholder management and tracking of external commitmentsTranslate business requirements into technical solutions, recommend alternative technical and business approaches, and lead engineering efforts to meet aggressive timelines with optimal solutions.Operational Excellence - monitoring & operation of production servicesCareer management and development of direct reports

Hands-on experience with Oracle database design.

Atleast 5+ years of experience in PL/SQL programming.

Experience in Building scalable data systems and pipelines through ETL.

Experience with cloud technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, Load Balancer.

Experience with Oracle Analytics would be an added advantage.

As a manager of the software engineering team, you will take an active role in planning, prioritization, delivery of features and customer support through delivering fixes. You will be responsible for working with Product Management to prioritize features/technical debt, sprint planning, creating and reviewing designs, ensuring timely delivery of feature, code review, mentoring team members.

Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 7 years of software engineering or related experience.

Manage a team that designs, develops, troubleshoots and debugs software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.

As a manager of the software engineering division, you will apply your knowledge of software architecture to manage software development tasks associated with developing, debugging or designing software applications, operating systems and databases according to provided design specifications. Build enhancements within an existing software architecture and occasionally suggest improvements to the architecture.

Leads a specialized area which may have diverse functional elements. Frequently interacts with supervisors and/or functional peer group managers. May interact with senior management. Demonstrated leadership and people management skills. Strong communication skills, analytical skills, thorough understanding of product development. BS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. Typically one year of software engineering or related experience.

Looking for someone in lead role who has a great interest in ETL technology, Data engg, Data pipeline and has an extensive experience in building a scalable data engg solution. Apart from being a technology driven, person would also be responsible for leading a team of senior Engr/Architect, build and run a solid development process to release high quality deliverables, provide direction and mentorship to team members to enable them achieve their maximum potential.
