About The Team

Building off our Cloud momentum, Oracle has formed a new organization - Health Data Intelligence Platform. This team will focus on product development and product strategy for Oracle Health, while building out a complete platform supporting modernized, automated healthcare. This is a net new line of business, constructed with an entrepreneurial spirit that promotes an energetic and creative environment. We are unencumbered and will need your contribution to make it a world class engineering center with the focus on excellence.

Oracle Health Data, Analytics Platform has a rare opportunity to play a critical role in how Oracle Health products impact and disrupt the healthcare industry by transforming how healthcare and technology intersect.

Responsibilities

• Requirements

• Candidates should have a track record of working on projects or roles that involve high-scale systems, distributed computing, or similar technical challenges.

• Should have a demonstrated ability to design and architect high-scale distributed systems.

• Able to explain examples of solving complex technical challenges, make trade-offs, and optimize system performance.

• Performance Optimization: Able to showcase the experience with performance optimization, tuning, and profiling of high-scale systems. This is crucial for ensuring efficient and responsive systems.

• Scalability: Have experience with load balancing, sharding, and horizontal scaling.

• Fault Tolerance - Distributed systems must be fault-tolerant to ensure high availability. Have knowledge of techniques like redundancy, replication, and error handling.

• Cloud Experience.

• Containerization and Orchestration.

Programming Language

• We will be aiming for candidates with experience in Distributed systems, complemented with any programming languages ( Java/Scala/Python are preferred).

• Distributed Systems skills such as Kafka, Spark, AWS Services, Kinesis Stream, EMR, PySpark, Event analytics platform, and Clickstream data processing.

• Cloud Platforms like AWS, GCP & Azure.

• Lead the conceptualization, design, and development of a ground breaking data intelligence platform that brings to bear new technologies and methodologies.

• Champion innovation within the organization, finding opportunities to enhance our data capabilities and drive central initiatives.

• Collaborate with multi-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into innovative data solutions.

• Stay abreast of industry trends, new technologies, and standard methodologies to shape the vision of the next-generation data intelligence platform.

• Champion a culture of continuous improvement and creativity within the data team.
