Google UX Design Manager, Google Ads in Bengaluru, India

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

  • 10 years of experience in product design or UX.

  • 5 years of experience leading design projects and managing people or teams.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

  • 7 years of experience working in a complex, cross-functional organization.

  • Portfolio of designed products, including enterprise, Business-to-Business, or productivity-focused applications that have inherent complexity.

Buying, Analytics and Measurement (BAM) UX is a group of designers, researchers and writers, defining the user experience of the Google Marketing Platform and critical pieces of the broader Google advertising ecosystem. In this role, you will solve product and business problems within Google Ads, and horizontal services that impact Search Ads 360 and other products.

We’re made up of multiple teams, building Google’s Advertising products including search, display, shopping, travel and video advertising, as well as analytics. Our teams create trusted experiences between people and businesses with useful ads. We help grow businesses of all sizes from small businesses, to large brands, to YouTube creators, with effective advertiser tools that deliver measurable results. We also enable Google to engage with customers at scale.

  • Identify new product opportunities, articulate product goals, contribute to customer-centric metrics OKRs.

  • Build relationships with Product Managers and Engineering partners and work cross-functionally to develop a user-centered product goal.

  • Partner with other designers, content strategists, and researchers to refine design systems and integrate new features into our evolving products.

  • Own project priorities, including finding and aligning resources to help with the design project work.

  • Own a design process, design system, or design language across teams or products.
