ManpowerGroup Production Shop Supervisor in Benicia, California
Supervise automotive accessory installations assuring all performance expectations are achieved.
Assist with coordination of timely actions required to meet customer and operational requirements.
Enforce company policies through teaching and discipline.
Coordinate staffing needs to meet the operating requirements of the facility.
Assist the organization in establishing key process measurable to track safety, productivity, efficiency and cost/profit margins.
Monitor key processes and implement actions when below expectations.
Initiate actions to prevent the occurrence of non-conformity relating to product, process and quality systems through the appropriate channels.
Ensure proper training is provided throughout the facility and all required certifications and training are maintained.
Supervisory experience (preferable in automotive field).
Excellent People Skills with proven results.
Supervisory experience of Skilled Trades.
4+ years of operations and/or supervisory experience in a automotive repair, accessory installation or similar environment.
Exceptional work ethic and dependability
Supervisory skills, with the ability to hold people accountable without diminishing motivation.
High energy level required, strong leadership skills, solid organizational and planning capabilities and problem solving skills.
Strong oral / written / interpersonal communication skills, tactful interaction with peers, subordinates, vendors and customers
Ability to lead, train, motivate, coach and develop facility staff.
Ability to remove barriers to ensure achievement of all Key Performance Indicators
Knowledge of continuous improvement programs such as 5S, TPM, or Lean Manufacturing
Sound technical skills and the ability to, run production, trouble shoot, and understand needed changes to maintain a safe and effective operation..
Must be able to use Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for production efficiency analysis and communication and procedure writing.
