Adecco US, Inc. Facility Cleaner in Berkeley, California
Position Summary:
Adecco is looking for a candidate in Berkeley, CA to join our team supporting the manufacturing of biotech products. As a Facility Cleaner, you will play a key role in maintaining cleanliness and compliance with cGMP and safety standards, contributing to the overall success of our production operations. Location: Berkeley, CA (94710)
Work Hours: Monday-Friday, 7am-4pm
Pay Rate: $20-$22 per hour (based on experience)
Duties & Responsibilities:
Clean and sanitize equipment and facilities including windows, doors, walls, floors, cabinets, and stainless-steel production tanks.
Maintain housekeeping in classified and controlled areas; document tasks on cleaning check sheets per SOP.
Perform cleaning and decontamination of floors using sweeping, mopping, scrubbing/buffing techniques.
Prepare decontamination solutions following SOP and BPR instructions, and submit samples for QC testing.
Follow aseptic techniques, cGMP, and safety regulations.
Perform rust abatement as needed and other related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Education: High school diploma required, some college preferred.
Experience: 1-2 years of relevant biotech industry experience preferred.
Skills:
Basic knowledge of janitorial and sterile techniques.
Familiarity with cGMPs and applicable agency regulations.
Ability to read, write, and comprehend English for instructions and documentation.
Strong communication skills, detail-oriented, and able to work in fast-paced environments.
Computer skills, including proficiency in software applications such as Outlook and document control systems.
Preferences:
Knowledge of protein chemistry and purification systems.
Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as required.
Ability to work independently or in a team environment.

Pay Details: $20.00 to $22.00 per hour
