Introduction

As an IBM Application Architect, you directly help clients transform their business and solve complex problems. You will define the scope and vision for projects that deliver customized solutions using your knowledge of IBM platforms. You are a technical leader, serving as a liaison among business partners, technical resources, and project stakeholders.

• Hochschulabschluss vorzugsweise in Betriebswirtschaftslehre, Wirtschaftsinformatik, Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen, Mathematik oder vergleichbare StudiengÄnge

• Expertise in Versicherungsprozessen und Versicherungs-Softwareprodukten

• Nachweisliche Projekterfahrung zur Einfhrung von Standard-Software und Transformation von GeschÄftsprozessen in der Versicherungswirtschaft

• LangjÄhrige und nachhaltige Erfahrung im Versicherungsumfeld

• Team- und/oder Projektleitungserfahrung

• Kenntnis von IT-Trends und deren Auswirkung auf den GeschÄftserfolg

• Exzellente Kommunikations- und PrÄsentationsfÄhigkeiten

• Sprachkenntnisse: Deutsch und Englisch fließend

• Reisebereitschaft in einem dynamischen Projektumfeld

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Application Architecture for core insurance IT systems

• Practical experience in creating an Application Architecture for component based core insurance IT systems

• Project related practical experience in applying the TOGAF 9.4 or higher for component based IT architectures of core insurance application (property & casuality).

• Know-how of the value chain of an insurance company for retail insurance and the related technical interfaces between insurance processes.

• Prooven project record in designing the main components of a core insurance application to support the value chain of a German P&C insurance company.

• Deep understanding in applying agile design / architiecture and IBM Garage to design to-be components of a P&C core insurance system.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Standard software Know-how

• Experience in managing teams of business developers to implement component based core insurance applications in general insurance.

• Prooven track record or references in conducting design workshops with Enterprise Archiutecture Management departments of an insurance company.

• Detailed Know-how in designing and implementing integration and de-coupling architectures for an IT landscape in general insurance.

• Experience in managing the architecture lifecycle of Target, To-Be and transformation archiectures as well as non functional requirements for core insurance applications.
