As a Senior Transportation Strategy Development Manager , you will provide strategic leadership for global transportation initiatives. Your role will drive cross-functional teams to execute our global planning and fulfillment strategies, promoting growth and efficiency. You will collaborate with professionals across various business functions, ensuring the success of key transportation projects.

This position is part of our globally located Planning, Fulfillment, and Transportation Team and offers a hybrid work model.

A typical day in this role will involve:

  • Leading multiple global transportation projects with significant business impact

  • Developing and implementing new strategies to enhance visibility, productivity, and strategic execution

  • Establishing performance metrics for carriers and reporting monthly data to regional teams

  • Keeping abreast of industry best practices and sharing innovative solutions and collaborative opportunities

  • Integrating new acquisitions, aligning with global/regional strategies, and training associates on sourcing tools and processes

  • Implementing standard work practices, including the creation and update of the TLM VES Playbook

  • Managing project execution through daily action planning and KPI tracking

  • Collaborating with senior leaders across manufacturing, warehousing, commercial, and IT to drive project completion

  • Building and maintaining a prioritized global transportation project funnel

The essential qualifications include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (Transportation, Warehousing, etc.)

  • Experience in Transport Management, Freight Management Systems, Data Analytics, Project Management, and Warehouse Management. International experience is a plus.

  • 5+ years of experience in the Transportation or Warehousing industry, with a strong understanding of planning and logistics.

  • Solid supply chain and logistics knowledge, with experience in manufacturing, warehousing, and distribution operations.

  • Strong leadership and project management skills, including visual project management, action planning, and problem-solving.

  • Ability to collaborate with global teams to adapt transportation and logistics strategies to meet regional needs.

  • Willingness to travel up to 30%.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience leading process change or system development projects

  • Familiarity with Oracle, Warehousing operations, Planning, Transportation, and Customs is a strong advantage.

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associate’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.

The compensation range for this role is $130,000 - $150,000 USD per year. This job is also eligible for Bonus Pay.

We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees.
