The Editor may be performing the following tasks:

  • Review and edit products to align with Style Guide standards review and edit graphics, including interactive media, and ensure proper formatting.

  • Verify proper sourcing of products and graphics.

  • Finalize publications.

  • Track production.

  • Work within production schedules and coordinate with all parties involved.

Requirements:

  • Must have experience editing Finished Intelligence products in support of an IC customer.

  • Professional writing, editing, and sourcing skills.

  • Proven track record of reviewing finished intelligence and collaborating with analysts and managers.

  • Knowledge of national security classification procedures is mandatory.

  • Strong editorial and grammatical skills.

  • Knowledge of production methodology for publishing products in hardcopy or electronic formats.

  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks and to adjust as priorities changing.

  • Experience working with Adobe InDesign is desired.

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and 12 - 15 years of prior relevant experience or Master’s with 10-13 years of relevant experience.

  • TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance is required.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $98,150.00 - $177,425.00

The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline onlyand not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
