We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Network Administrator in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. This role is positioned within the technology industry, where the selected candidate will be primarily tasked with maintaining and improving our network systems.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and manage Fortinet Firewalls to ensure optimal network performance

• Monitor network performance and make adjustments as needed to ensure optimal speed and efficiency

• Collaborate with team members to identify and solve potential network issues

• Implement security measures and basic testing for network systems

• Continually update network administration procedures and documentation

• Train staff on new technologies and hardware as required

• Respond to network administration related tickets and troubleshoot reported issues

• Conduct regular system audits and software upgrades

• Collaborate with third-party support and service vendors to ensure that the network stays operational

• Develop plans for future upgrades and set goals for network efficiency.

Requirements • Must hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Proven experience as a Network Administrator, Network Architect, or similar role in Information Technology.

• Proficiency in managing and configuring Fortinet Firewalls is essential.

• Solid understanding of network infrastructure and network hardware.

• Ability to implement, administer, and troubleshoot network infrastructure devices.

• Knowledge of application transport and network infrastructure protocols.

• Ability to create accurate network diagrams and documentation for design and planning network communication systems.

• Network security experience is highly desirable.

• Strong problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.

• Excellent communication skills to interact with team members, management, and customers effectively.

• Must be willing to be on-call outside of regular working hours to resolve network issues if they arise. Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®
