Job Title: Building and Grounds Maintenance (Direct Hire)

Hours: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm

Compensation: $20/hr

FlexStaff is seeking employment for one of our clients, a well known company, located in Bethpage. The job responsibilities are below. This would be a direct hire opportunity through FlexStaff.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform building maintenance tasks including trash pick-up, spot cleaning (carpet and/or other surfaces), ground-level window cleaning (interior/exterior), restroom maintenance, power washing of store fronts and drive-up areas, and distribution and recovery of critical equipment and components.

  • Conduct regular site inspections to identify cleaning service deficiencies and maintenance concerns such as lighting, plumbing, and electrical issues.

  • Ensure van maintenance by completing, submitting, and logging inspection forms, as well as managing van storage and removal.

  • Maintain inventory of janitorial supplies and complete Monthly Task Sheets.

  • Secure areas by opening and closing facilities, including the picnic area and branch front entrance.

  • Ability to stand, bend, lift, climb, kneel, and lift over 50lbs.

  • Must be able to travel and enter/exit a vehicle without assistance.

  • Possess a valid driver's license.

Education: High School diploma or equivalent.

Experience: Minimum 1 year of relevant experience.

The salary range for this position is $20-$20/hour
