You will play a pivotal role in architecting, designing, and implementing scalable solutions that will serve as the foundation for LEGO experiences in the coming decades.

Core responsibilities

  • Follow modern engineer practice and disciplines, working closely with product manager to ensure the solution meet the ideal value outcome.

  • Architect, design, develop, and deploy applications and services leveraging best practices.

  • Design and implementation of scalable and resilient systems that meet performance and availability requirements.

  • Utilize a wide range of cloud services and technologies, including AWS, Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, and serverless computing.

  • Mentor other engineers, conduct code reviews, and provide technical guidance to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.

  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends, recommending innovative solutions to enhance our software capabilities.

Product Delivery Technology is a crucial component of the Consumer and Marketing Technology organization within Digital Technology. Our department is dedicated to the creation of innovative digital products, spanning digital element design, digital building experiences, workflow management and digital content distribution. We operate at the intersection of innovation, creativity, and technology, committed to delivering solutions that drive excellence across different domains in the LEGO Group.

Do you have what it takes?

  • 5+ years of experience in software development. It is of less importance that you have used a specific coding language.

  • Extensive experience with cloud platforms such as AWS and/or Azure.

  • Experience with system platforms like Teamcenter etc. is favorable.

  • Strong understanding of event-driven architecture, containerization, and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).

  • Strong background in delivering platform products serving as the trustworthy, easy choice for other product teams in need of service characterized by secure/safe data storage.

  • Solid grasp of DevOps principles and experience with CI/CD pipelines.

  • Excellent critical thinking skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues in distributed systems.

  • Effective communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
