Senior Organizational Development Consultant, 33 Lewis Rd United Health Services is seeking a Senior Organizational Development Consultant to join our Talent Performance & Organizational Effectiveness department at 33 Lewis Rd in Binghamton, NY. This position is benefits eligible.

Overview

The Senior Organization Development Consultant has an important role at UHS, during our significant growth and transformation, which includes prioritizing leadership development and employee experience. This role is key in connecting people with our mission, advancing professional growth, and enhancing employee and provider experiences. Reporting directly to the System Director of Organization Development and collaborating closely with organizational leaders, this position is essential in managing key projects and programs to achieve UHS's goals and establishing UHS as the leading employer in New York’s Southern Tier.

Areas of expertise will include but not be limited to: HR transformation, employee experience, safety culture and collaboration with patient experience and quality, leadership development, organizational effectiveness, performance management and retention. Certification in a multi rater or other team performance areas is highly beneficial (i.e. DDI, Leadership Circle, DISC, TTI, MBTI, Learning Agility etc.). Having strong confidence in taking on projects, leading initiatives, and being an ambassador of change and growth in the organization are key to building success in this role.

With a minimum of 4 days a week on site to start, the position has the potential to develop into a more hybrid nature. This will vary based on the current needs of the organization, dependent on active programs and planned initiatives.

Qualifications

Education and Experience:

  • A minimum of 7-10 years of experience in organization development, change management, or a related field.

  • Master’s degree in a relevant discipline, with a proven track record in large-scale organizational transformation.

  • Proficiency in advanced organizational tools, including MS Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, and LMS platforms.

  • Strong project management skills, coupled with advanced facilitation and presentation capabilities.

Professional Attributes:

  • Strategic thinker with an ability to operate both hands-on and at a macro level.

  • Deep understanding of continuous process improvement methodologies.

  • Exceptional communication skills, adept in building relationships and influencing across the organizational spectrum.
