WIS International Inventory Associate in Birmingham, Alabama
Inventory Associates are responsible for conducting inventories at various retail stores. Team members will meet each morning, travel to the retail location as a group, then return to the base location in Jasper, AL. Associates must be willing to travel up to 2.5 hours one-way each day to arrive at the client's retail store location. New associates will be trained on the correct procedures and equipment to use during the inventory process. The job is a production-based position. Work days are Monday through Friday. Travel to the store locations each day is provided via a van.
There is no education or experience level required. A valid government-issued state ID (state ID card, driver's license, etc.) is required. Each candidate will have a background check conducted. The minimum age is 18.
The position is paid weekly on an hourly basis. Each associate will work 20-30 hours per week. Since travel may start in the early morning hours, each candidate should have their own transportation to the pick-up site where team members will ride together in a van to the worksite.
Raises are made available every 30 days based upon the associate's production numbers. Starting pay is $15 per hour. Each associate will have the opportunity to have medical, dental and vision insurance after 60 days of service, and a 401K plan after 6 months of service.
Astrong work ethic, working well as a part of a team, having a positive attitude, and using excellent communication skills are a plus. Physical requirements include squatting, bending, kneeling, reaching and climbing 2-step ladders.
