We are currently growing our North America team and are seeking aHR Specialist - People Relationsto join our talented Human Resources team! The level of this position will be dependent upon the incumbent's experience. This career opportunity will be located onsite at our Bismarck, ND manufacturing facility.

This role is responsible for providing support to the HR department and business. They will assist in various HR functions, including but not limited to Total Rewards, Talent Acquisition, People Relations, Business Processes & Analytics, and Environmental Health & Safety. The Specialist will collaborate with HR team members to ensure accurate and efficient HR operations.

Role & Responsibility

  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies and questions

  • Assist in administering HR programs, including compensation/benefits, talent acquisition, orientation & onboarding, training and performance management

  • Maintain records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality

  • Prepare employment contracts, offer letters, and termination letters

  • Support in organizing employee engagement activities and events

  • Prepare reports as needed

  • Keep up to date with employment laws/regulations to ensure compliance

  • Support across HR operations

People Relations

  • Manage employee relations to promote positive employer-employee relationships and enhance organizational effectiveness

  • Support talent management, training, succession planning, and employee development

  • Provide support to managers addressing job, salary, and benefit/payroll matters, while ensuring accurate reporting

  • Manage end-to-end staffing processes, incl. determining staffing needs, administering job postings, conducting interviews, overseeing selection procedures, handling AAP administration, and facilitating new hire orientation and onboarding

Job Requirement

Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent related experience.

Prior experience in an HR support role or internship is preferred.

Basic knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and employment laws.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.

Proficiency in MS Office Suite and HRIS software.

Travel required: < 10%
