We are looking for someone with technical expertise in the software development lifecycle and the ability to collaborate cross functionally to accomplish the goal of improving the product and integrating it into a variety of vehicle platforms.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and synchronize across software development teams and other internal

groups to design, build, test, and release software on time and with high quality.

• Drive and lead delivery of enabling technologies and experiences.

• Handle interdependencies between teams and identify and manage requirements

and architectural convergence as well as software delivery risks.

• Build valued working relationships with technical subject matter experts,

stakeholders, and management.

• Manage requirements, scope, schedule, budget, quality and risks for each project.

• Demonstrate strong organizational and leadership skills and outstanding written

and verbal communication talent.

Travel: 10% out of town if needed to go to SW firmware or development suppliers. Also could be required to go onsite to customers, GM (Warren), Nissan (Farmington), Honda (Marysville, OH)

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

MUST Haves:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline is required

• Minimum of 3 years of SW project management OR worked as a lead engineer managing the SW development lifecyle (SW Development & SW Testing) of a program

• Previous experience establishing and maintaining key partnership engagements with a client as well as with internal stakeholders

• Experience in managing firmware suppliers and third-party development partner (i.e. DSP or Qualcomm)

• Prior software development and test experience with embedded applications, C, C++, MATLAB, or Python (they will NOT be doing any coding or testing but do need to understand how it's done so they can manage it)

• Familiar with Agile methodologies and the challenges of hybrid agile/waterfall approaches

Nice to Haves:

• Automotive and ASPICE experience is a plus.
