HealthPartners IT Business Analyst - Technology Infrastructure Services (TIS) in Bloomington, Minnesota

HealthPartners is currently hiring for an IT Business Analyst - Technology Infrastructure Services (TIS). The analyst provides a broad range of advisory services to IT Leadership and business partners. This position utilizes a highly flexible and effective range of IT and consulting skills to bridge and/or translate customer needs across multiple business and technical areas. The analyst provides value for TIS leaders with TIS Business functions, technology renewals, user license agreements and vendors that support the enterprise. This position also helps manage and track budget spend consistently across TIS and identifies opportunities for measurable process or systemic improvements and participates in the facilitation of technology-related change. Required Qualifications: 4-year college degree in Computer sciences, healthcare or business or equivalent experience 8+ years' experience working in multiple areas - IT, business, and healthcare. 6+ years' experience within a specific IS&T department (i.e., Care Delivery Systems or Health Plan Systems) Preferred Qualifications: PMI Certified ITIL Foundations Hours/Location: M-F; Days May work remotely but will prefer local candidates for occasional onsite needs. Accountabilities: Develops and delivers advisory services to IT Leadership and business partners for technology related opportunities. Investigates and analyzes IT problems or issues; recommending alternative actions. Serves as a point of coordination for cross functional information needs when clear ownership or accountability is not present. Assists in determining the feasibility of technology-based business solutions; collaborating with the development of business cases, requirement definitions, and implementation plans. Facilitates and consults with development, tactical planning, and implementation of new services, including budgeting, staffing, software, and hardware needs. Researches and analyzes technology-based solutions for business needs and services. Manages small to medium projects; coordinating resources across IS&T. Manages process and operational improvements to create greater efficiency and value of IT Services. Creates blueprints and data work flows to enable planning and issue resolution.
