The Role

Lumen offers a fully immersive, 10-week summer internship program. Our interns demonstrate curiosity, innovation, and a passion for advancing technology. Program dates: May 30 – August 8, 2025.

• This position is fully remote/ work from home.

The Main Responsibilities

This internship is for a Business Analyst, focusing on the technology analysis of functionality of integrations between HR, Time and Payroll systems to internal and external applications. This role will be joining as we launch new integrations for our transformed SAP Ecosystem Landscape.

Key responsibilities:

• Elicit and document business needs and processes.

• Analyze data to identify trends and insights.

• Map and improve business processes.

• Create documentation

• Participate in quality assurance and testing.

• Facilitate stakeholder communication.

• Assist in production and project management tasks.

• Engage in continuous learning and skill enhancement.

• Participate in Agile Methodologies

10-week plan - Will include partnering with the existing leads in this area on a daily basis to receive guidance, knowledge and assignments. This internship will include work supporting the time of launch and hyper care into our new ERP SAP Landscape. The internship will include exposure to areas of data analysis, requirements gathers, business process mapping, testing, stakeholder communications, production and project management concepts.

Day to Day responsibilities will include:

• Daily Monitoring of Existing programs and troubleshooting errors

• Partnering with other departments to analyze integrations that are changed or new

• Testing changes from developers as part of the development lifecycle process

• Interacting with vendor partners on integrations

• Learning details on the HR, Time, Payroll and Identity landscape

What We Look For in a Candidate

Program eligibility is contingent on the candidate’s commitment of the entire 10-week program. No exceptions will be made.

• Required qualifications

• Enrolled at a 4-year accredited college or university, rising senior level education status at the start of the internship

• Graduating August 2025 – May 2027

• Preferred fields include bur not limited to: Business, Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.

• Intern must be able to work 40 hours per week during the 10-week program (May 30 – August 8, 2025)

• US work authorization is required. Individuals needing visa sponsorship are not eligible.

• Proficiency and understanding of:

• Familiarity of Agile methodology

• Familiarity with basic SQL or PSQL

• Preferred qualifications

• Familiarity with .NET

• Basic familiarity with GIT, Subversion, or similar version control systems is a plus

• Familiarity with SAP

Compensation

Internship compensation ranges depend on each individual’s level of education, geographic location, and experience/qualifications aligned to the role.

Hourly Based Pay Range:

Min: $22.00/hour

Max: $35.00/hour

This position is eligible for either short-term incentives or sales compensation. Director and VP positions also are eligible for long-term incentive.
