KPMG is currently seeking a Product Manager to join our Audit Technology organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate directly with business stakeholders, portfolio manager, product owner and other product managers to understand the market forces, desired economic outcomes, and broader solution vision influencing product strategy to ensure that solutions deliver tangible business value

  • Leverage business acumen and analytical skills to interpret and contextualize external and internal data, translating complex information into actionable insights for audit professionals to design tools aligned with the product strategy and roadmap

  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of the firm's clients, their industries, and specific market challenges to ensure the accuracy and relevance of data used in audit engagements

  • Lead the development and implementation of innovative solutions to enhance audit efficiency, improve engagement and client insights, and power enhanced risk assessment combining internal and external data

  • Navigate the firm tool development process, maintaining alignment with the system of quality controls, product owners, development teams and business stakeholders throughout tool development

  • Evaluate and enhance research methodologies, tools, and sources continuously to ensure the firm remains at the forefront of industry analysis and insights

Qualifications:

  • Minimum five years of recent experience with minimum two years of recent experience in technology product management roles; preferred prior experience delivering audit engagements in a client-facing capacity

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in business, marketing, statistics, market research, finance, or other related field is preferred; CPA qualification is preferred

  • Strong analytical and research skills, with the ability to gather, analyze, and interpret complex data from various sources; prior experience leveraging third-party data preferred

  • Demonstrated knowledge and prior experience with the audit cycle and insights expected by audit engagement teams and client management teams

  • Strong attention to detail and the capability to work independently and meet deadlines

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the aptitude to present complex information in a clear and concise manner (200TEC)
