Pay: $24/hr.

Hours: 5am-330pm

Job Summary:

The Paint and Packaging Associate is responsible for ensuring that products are efficiently and accurately painted, finished, and packaged according to company standards. This role involves operating painting equipment, inspecting finished products, and preparing items for shipment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain spray painting equipment.

  • Mix and prepare paints according to specified formulas.

  • Apply paint to products, ensuring an even and complete coverage.

  • Inspect painted products for quality and touch up any imperfections.

  • Prepare products for packaging by inspecting them for defects and ensuring they meet quality standards.

  • Wrap, box, and label products according to customer specifications and company guidelines.

  • Ensure that all packaging materials are stocked and readily available.

  • Operate packaging machinery and tools as needed.

  • Perform routine checks on painted and packaged products to ensure they meet company and customer standards.

  • Report any defects or issues to the supervisor and assist in troubleshooting problems.

  • Monitor and manage inventory levels of paints, packaging materials, and other supplies.

  • Assist in receiving and stocking materials, as necessary.

  • Follow all safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.

  • Conduct routine maintenance and cleaning of painting and packaging equipment.

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Previous experience in a painting, packaging, or manufacturing environment is preferred.

  • Knowledge of painting techniques, tools, and materials.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects up to [specific weight].

  • Basic math and measurement skills.

  • Willingness to work in a physically demanding and sometimes hazardous environment.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods standing

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds

  • Must be able to work on unforgiving surfaces

  • Must be able to work in hot and cold climates and in an environment with many noises and odors
