FTE: 0.9, Shift: Evening, Schedule: 12 40 Position Summary The Emergency Services Technician Lab is an exciting opportunity on the MultiCare Off Campus Emergency Department team, offering a supportive role assisting practitioners with patient care and executing administrative and clinical procedures. Working in collaboration, you will ensure the best possible health care outcomes and patient experience. Responsibilities You will perform direct patient care as directed You will engage your critical thinking skills in maintaining a safe, therapeutic and aesthetic environment. Collaborate with the team to facilitate overall improvement in quality of care, patient experience, and cost reduction Foster a learning environment for patients/families, nursing staff, and other members of the health care team Advocate for ethical and holistic care promoting the autonomy, dignity, and health of patients from diverse ethnic and social backgrounds Requirements High School Diploma or GED Ability to obtain Washington State certification/licensure as a MA-P and NA-R within 90 days of placement in position Experience with phlebotomy and initiation of EKG, Medical Assistant - Phlebotomist Certification preferred Previous experience as a CNA, NA-R, corpsman, EMT or phlebotomist in an emergency department, pre-hospital, or acute care setting within the last three years preferred Current BLS Certification Our Values As a MultiCare employee, we'll rely on you to reflect our core values of Respect, Integrity, Stewardship, Excellence, Collaboration and Kindness. Pay and Benefit Expectations We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $20.64 - $34.11 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant's years of experience align.
