Shipping and Receiving Clerk

Boonton, NJ

$17-$19/Hour, DOE

The shipping and receiving clerk will ensure that products are packaged and meet all expectations including scheduling. Ensure purchased materials are received accurately and timely.

Responsibilities:

• Ensures accurate and timely shipments of finished goods.

• Efficiently receive, process and stock incoming goods.

• Examine contents and compare with records, such as: manifests, invoices, or orders to verify accuracy of incoming or outgoing shipments.

• Record shipment data such as weight, charges, space availability and damages or discrepancies for reporting, accounting and recordkeeping purposes.

• Work with production to ensure necessary information is relayed.

• Pack, seal, label and affix shipping labels to prepare materials for shipping, using work devices such as hand tools and power tools.

  Requirements:

• Must have experience working in all aspects of shipping and receiving including order releases, packing lists generation, preparing international shipping documents, etc.

• Must have experience with UPS, FedEx and on line shipping systems.

• Must be able to read and write in English - lift up to 60lbs. and be willing to work overtime as needed.
