Description Accounting Specialist Exciting opportunity available for an Accounting Specialist in a family-owned, quality-obsessed food manufacturing company. In this role, your responsibilities will revolve around managing the day-to-day operations of Accounts Payable & Receivable. Your duties will include processing vendor invoices, expense reports, employee reimbursements, managing incoming cash receipts, and ensuring proper application of funds against open invoices and credit memos. You will also prepare and maintain comprehensive reports and reconciliations for all accounts payable transactions, record customer payments, and handle other complex monthly accounts statements. Effective communication is a necessity for addressing customer inquiries, resolving issues, and guaranteeing timely payment processing. Additional tasks include tracking vendor payments using Excel and other accounting software, processing transactions accurately, ensuring adherence to company policies, and assisting with administrative tasks like lease tracking and permit renewals. You'll also be trained in handling billing for a small trucking company.
