State of Massachusetts Contracted Student Intern- Licensing in Boston, Massachusetts

The Department of Mental Health (DMH) is seeking to hire an intern who will support its Clinical Professional Services/ Licensing (CPS) Division in Central Office Boston. The CPS/Licensing Division in collaboration with Office of Investigation will be developing a DMH Quality Management/Performance Improvement (QAPI) dashboard. The QAPI dashboard collects, posts, analyzes and trends QAPI data from all DMH licensed facilities. It also captures critical incident report data which is determined by the QAPI team based on a review of the most frequently reported type of incidents as well as the high risk, high volume or problem prone areas reported. * *Duties and Responsibilities (these duties are a general summary and not all inclusive): * The intern will be included in all team planning meetings and assist the team in dashboard development, review, analysis and trending of data received from licensed facilities. * The intern will also assist with assessing current clinical dashboards available within DMH to determine applicability to DMH's QAPI dashboard goals. _Preferred Qualifications:_ * Data analysis * Dashboard creation * Given the population served, bilingual or multilingual fluency. _Period of Service:_May 28, 2024 through August 30, 2024 _Additional Information:_ * Benefits are unavailable with the exception of sick leave accruals. * All employees will be paid on a biweekly basis and must have direct deposit. * The salary for this position is $18 an hour. * Hours: 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. * Days Off: Saturday and Sunday _DMH Mission Statement:_ The Department of Mental Health assures and provides access to services and supports to meet the mental health needs of individuals of all ages, enabling them to live, work and participate in their communities.
