KPMG is currently seeking a Director, Corporate Communications - Change Communications to join our Corporate Communications organization.
Responsibilities:
Work closely with Communications senior leadership to develop change communications strategy focused on shaping, advancing, and protecting reputation to drive forward the firm's priorities especially relating to transformation; oversee and implement strategic change communications plans with day-to-day client, and develop ideas to accelerate progress against the firm's transformation agenda
Provide trusted counsel to business partners and stakeholders, often as primary relationship manager, on change communications strategies, opportunities, and issues; influence decision-making and bring new ideas forward based on internal factors and/or external trends, especially those that prioritize employee engagement
Lead communications team in creating and executing communications initiatives related to transformation and change, and act as the go-to resource for this knowledge as well as is an avid consumer of traditional news and social media, bringing external trends and case studies into our communications
Establish best practice systems and processes on change communications for optimizing communications efficacy; measure and monitor progress to drive successful outcomes; work smart by proactively connecting to the team and leveraging team resources and expertise
Align communications efforts with wider Communications organization to help ensure firm-wide consistency and drive the broader firm strategy forward; serve as change communication subject matter expert, including developing and maintaining methodology and approach to enhance consistency of skills and capabilities across the team
Manage, coach, and source developmental opportunities for direct reports
Qualifications:
Minimum ten years of recent corporate communications experience, including working as a trusted communications advisor and having an advanced understanding of multiple business functions and deep expertise in the area they support
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
Strategic thinker with strong record of planning and developing successful communications strategies and content for multiple communications channels; agency experience preferred
Progressively increasing experience flagging and acute awareness of issues that impact the firm's reputation with its people and external stakeholders
Superior relationship manager, collaborator, and idea builder who can lead and excel in a fast-paced environment
Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills, including the ability to present concepts confidently and persuasively; progressive experience managing teams

San Francisco Salary Range: Low: $182000 - High: $342900
Los Angeles Salary Range: Low: $164100 - High: $309200
