Work for the BEST Patent firm in Boston. We are currently seeking an experienced Patent Litigation Attorney with a strong technical or scientific background for our prestigeious client. Ideal candidates will have a profound interest in technology, particularly electrical engineering and computer science, along with a stellar track record in patent litigation.

Responsibilities:

• Actively lead all aspects of patent litigation – including discovery, negotiation, drafting pleadings, motions and briefs, arguing motions, taking and defending depositions

• Provide consultation and legal advice regarding patent infringement matters

• Manage and supervise junior attorneys and paralegals

• Meet with clients to discuss case progress, legal advice, and litigation strategies

• Keep abreast of changes in industry and legal understanding to advise clients accurately

• Collaborate with attorneys in other practice areas and regions

• Represent the firm at conferences, networking events to maintain firm reputation

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (preferably in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Mechanical Engineering)

• Advanced degree in life sciences will be given preference

• Must possess a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

• 3-4 years prior experience in patent litigation

• Active membership in the state bar and current compliance with CLE requirements

• Superior writing skills and excellent academic credentials

• Exceptional analytical skills for conducting complex and detailed analysis of legal matters

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment

• Comfortable interacting with clients, attorneys, and staff from diverse backgrounds

• Aptitude for managing multiple projects simultaneously under strict deadlines
