Boston University PIANO TECHNICIAN/RESTORER/ADVISOR, College of Fine Arts, School of Music in BOSTON, Massachusetts
The College of Fine Arts seeks a Piano Technician/Tuner. This position coordinates, in conjunction with the Senior Piano Technical Associate, the School of Musics piano shop and inventory of approximately 170 pianos and other keyboard instruments. This position works with the Senior Piano Technical Associate to provide recommendations for short- and long-term strategies for improving the Schools inventory, and oversees the piano shop when the Senior Piano Technician is unavailable. This position also performs regular maintenance, including tunings and repairs, and occasional restorations of School of Music keyboard instruments.
Required Skills
Five to eight years of piano tuning and maintenance experience required.
