Job Description Summary

The Senior Controllership Analyst will be responsible for weekly, monthly, and quarterly close processes as well as determining financial outcomes and delivering accurate financial reporting and analysis to leadership.

This role requires strong accounting expertise & financial acumen, which will be applied in mastering systems knowledge, creating effective financial processes, booking complete & accurate journal entries, reporting correct & timely financial statement information to leadership. This role will also work towards cultivating best practices to integrate with or pull from the larger HealthCare finance organizations.

Job Description

Role and Responsibilities

  • Manage the controllership and financial reporting of the organization in accordance with accepted accounting principles and policies

  • Ensure project accounting is in accordance with company guidelines; define milestone and liaise with HealthCare headquarters finance for more complex revenue recognition transactions

  • Perform weekly, monthly, & quarterly closings, ensuring timely completion & proper booking of transactions

  • Responsible owner of all Oracle financial system modules [Project Accounting, General Ledger, Receivables, Payables, & Fixed Assets]

  • Responsible owner of data feeds between Oracle financial system & GE HealthCare applications

  • Manage financial planning, budgeting & forecasting for the HealthCare Technology & Innovation Center, coordinating with HealthCare STO finance and partner with other HealthCare headquarters finance teams for financial submissions, account reconciliations & variance explanations

  • Assist Finance & Operations Director on proposed financial models for the HealthCare Technology & Innovation Center based upon short-term & long-term strategy

  • Partner with the DT team for Oracle financial system enhancements & normal issue resolution

Qualifications

  • B.S. in Accounting/Finance from an accredited university or college

  • 5+ years of relevant Accounting/Finance experience

Desired Characteristics

  • Strong systems manipulation skills to collect, organize, and interpret large amounts of project/financial data

  • Process mapping & system implementation experience

  • Demonstrated ability to set & manage competing priorities to drive key deliverables in a fast-paced & dynamic work environment

  • CPA/MBA (preferred, but not required)

  • Strong knowledge of Oracle platform (Project Accounting knowledge preferred, but not required)

For U.S. based positions only, the pay range for this position is $110,160.00-$165,240.00 Annual. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the pay range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience and location. In addition, this position may also be eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
