THE JOB

Leader Bank Pavilion’s Ticket Taker team play a key role in controlling venue access and providing front line guest services during our concert and commencement season. We are hiring now for our May 2024 – October 2024 season. Ticket Takers welcome our guests to the venue , scan tickets , and provide guest services under the direction of the Guest Service Lead, Operations Manager, and General Manager.

Event shifts are typically in the evening, although some events will take place during the day. Evening availability is required.

WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO

  • Represent Live Nation and Leader Bank Pavilion to all venue visitors, including our business partners and artists, in a professional way

  • Adapt to the varying needs of our diverse artists and audiences

  • Greet guests, scan guest tickets upon entry to the venue , answer guest questions accurately , assist guests with locating their seats and examines tickets for entry to various seat ing areas around the venue during the event.

  • Ability to use electronic scanning equipment and understand digital ticketing to offer guests the most efficient ingress possible.

  • Maintain working knowledge of Ticketmaster scanners and devices used in this role. Work with IT to resolve Ti cketmaster scanner issues as needed.

  • Maintain working knowledge of venue ticketing policies and guest services strategies related to admission and ticketing. Enforce policies and ensure all guests entering the venue have valid admission.

  • Assist with keeping the venue safe, clean and presentable to internal and external guest s .

  • Help guests with accessibility needs, such as helping with seat accommodations or wheelchair escorts.

  • Guide guests to exits or provide other instructions or assistance in case of emergency.

  • A ssist in verifying staff credentials to generally restricted areas.

  • Provide guest service by greeting and assisting guests and responding to guest inquiries and complaints. Maintain working knowledge of guest services programs and service recovery practices.

  • Responsible for maintaining a fun, friendly, and safe environment throughout the venue ; . uphold venue policies and escalate concerns to appropriate members of the management team in a timely manner

  • Perform a variety of duties, often changing from one task to another, without the loss of efficiency or composure.

  • Ability to work with a diverse group of co-workers and develop strong working relationships across all departments

    WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING

  • At least 1+ year in a guest service role preferred

  • Ability to perform duties in a professional manner and appearance; ability to make independent and good judgment decisions within proper policy and procedures.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong team player with ability to collaborate and establish strong working relationships with internal and external partners

  • Passion for and proven experience building a diverse workplace by utilizing diversity job platforms, partnering with diverse colleges and community organizations
