Job Title: QC Specialist

Job Description

The QC Specialist will be part of a multi-discipline support staff with primary responsibility for receiving, aliquoting, distributing, handling, and documenting GMP samples in support of multi-product and multi-site testing laboratories.

Responsibilities

• Aliquoting, sampling, receiving, and distributing QC samples and reference standards

• Providing appropriate GMP documentation

• Working within established corporate and organizational guidelines

• Recording and documenting all relevant information accurately

• Thriving in a fast-paced environment and interacting effectively with peers and scientists as part of a multi-disciplinary team

Essential Skills

• Attention to detail

• Strong organizational skills

• Ability to multitask

• Effective interpersonal and communication skills

• Experience with GMP sample handling

• Proficiency with data systems (laboratory information systems)

• Experience with shipping and receiving

• Effective written communication skills

• Time management skills with minimal supervision

• Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment

• Technical skills relevant to laboratory work

Work Environment

The work environment is fast-paced and requires the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
