Distinctive Healthcare is currently seeking to hire a full time RN Internal Medicine at Wright Patterson AFB located Wright Patterson AFB, Ohio.
Minimum Qualifications:
Degree/Education (5.2.4): Successfully graduated from a nationally accredited associate degree OR baccalaureate degree nursing program.
Certifications in addition to Basic Life Support: HCW shall maintain current certification in Basic Life Support for Healthcare Workers in accordance with American Heart Association, which includes both learning and psychomotor skills portions.
Experience:3 years of clinical experience in various settings who have demonstrated appropriate knowledge and skills necessary to provide safe and effective telehealth nursing care and service. Shall have practiced as a Registered Nurse performing hands on Adult patient care in a primary care outpatient clinical setting for at least 24 months with the past 48 months.
Board Certification (5.2.6.4.4): N/A
Licensure/Registration:Shall provide evidence of continued professional education consisting of contact hours IAW the HCWs State Board of Nursing requirements.
HCW Duties: and in addition: The HCW will:
- Telehealth nursing is an important part of the nursing services performed.Telephone messages and secure messaging via internet are communications tools used the patient and staff to assist in coordination of care.Duties include use of these communications tools on a daily basis.
- Coordinate patient care in collaboration with a wide array of healthcare professionals.
- Facilitate the achievement of optimal outcomes in relation to clinical care, quality and cost effectiveness.
- Ensure compliance with standards of care and practice in accordance with all established policies, procedures, and guidelines used in the MTF.
- Perform physical exam and health histories.
- Provide health promotions, counseling, and education
