Responsibilities
While practicing Service Excellence skills, the LPN assumes the responsibility and accountability for providing safe and competent direct/indirect nursing care for post operative patients in Phase 2 Recovery. needs in accordance with Manatee Memorial Hospital policies, procedures, standards and philosophy and provides professional leadership and support to health team members.. Ability to integrate nursing theory into practice using nursing process. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to problem solve and work effectively with patients, families, staff and physicians. Ability to plan and organize and work effectively in stressful situations. Ability to work independently and in teams. Good utilization of computer and other tools needed for job performance. - Must be able to vary work schedule, Must be able to be on call.
Qualifications
Required Current LPN licensure in Florida CPAN certification preferred ACLSrequired 1year PACU experience or experience in Critical Care (ICU, CCU, CVSICU) required. BLSrequired
