SUMMARY: The position of Manager, Restorations will be responsible for driving the engineering and manufacturing processes within the Restoration Department to ensure customer requirements are met on a timely basis .

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for profit/losses of all restoration molds.
Directly manage the employees and day to day activities within the Restoration Department including the afternoon shift. This includes engineering, estimating, CAM and shipping relating to restoration of molds.
Ensures on- time delivery of products and services by working to the schedule. Adheres to planned hours.
Ensures parts are made to print with required documentation.
Participates in customer visits to perform repairs when necessary.
Supports CI initiatives and always looks at ways to improve productivity and efficiencies.
Responsible for equipment maintenance in the Restoration Department.
Back-up to the Manager, Test Room.
Liaise with Design Engineers and Project Managers on Restoration designs.
Ensures parts are made to print with required documentation.
Collaborates with other departments to ensure common goals are achieved as a team.
When Restoration Department is not busy, coordinates with Teck Center (Test Room) or Paget 1 manufacturing team to ensure resources are kept busy.
Ensuring all work practices are conducted in a safe manner as per The Ontario Occupational Health and Safety Act.
Conducts Performance Evaluations in a professional manner on schedule.
Responsible for coordinating building maintenance including crane and forklift repairs, first aid room, lunchroom, changerooms and all other building upkeep areas.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE
Post-Secondary education – Engineering/Business disciplines or proven relevant experience.
Proven knowledge of Injection Molding business ideally with ten years plus experience.
Experience leading and managing teams is an asset.
