JOB SUMMARY
Coordinate maintenance of the factory building and its surrounding premises, production plant service including preventative maintenance and upgrading of facility equipment and electrical services, also, but not limited to AHU/HVAC systems, compressors and systems, chiller system, rapid roller doors, fire alarm, cranes/gantries, sprinkler systems, cooling towers etc.
Negotiate annual service contracts for all plant items and support systems.
Raise POs for contracts, repairs and spares as required.
Act as the point of contact for vendors and contractors for the Facilities Department.
Responsible for grounds maintenance, including management of records.
Daily monitoring of cleanrooms and associated building management systems, ensuring that all rooms are within spec and if not follow the correct escalation and remedial action paths.
Plan and ensure monthly budget accuracy.
Plan, coordinate and ensure all facilities works are compliant with required specifications, regulatory requirement, quality of work and safety standards.
Support, liaise and assist the Maintenance Manager with day to day activities utilizing maintenance techs as required.
Be a site SME for the computer maintenance management system.
Be first point of contact with facility issues, determine follow up course of action and implement conclusion.
Assist in the preparation of department forecasts.
Drive continuous improvement in all aspects of facilities operations in terms of cost, performance and efficiency.
Constantly seeks to improve work processes; Has a quality-first mentality; Learns from internal and external best practices to apply to her/his work
Supports all company Lean Manufacturing principles
Supports all company quality programs and initiatives.
Timeliness in addressing Quality System Requirements.
Principles of data integrity must be strictly adhered to.
