We are providing an opportunity for a detail-oriented individual to join an excellent growing client in the role of an Accounts Receivable and Cash Application Specialist. Based in Brentwood, Tennessee, the successful candidate will become an integral part of our team, focusing on the crucial task of managing our company's financial transactions. This role will involve a variety of responsibilities, such as processing customer credit applications, maintaining accurate customer credit records, and resolving customer credit inquiries.

Responsibilities:

• Process and analyze customer credit applications to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

• Maintain and update customer credit records regularly.

• Resolve any customer credit inquiries in a timely and professional manner.

• Monitor customer credit accounts to identify any discrepancies or outstanding payments.

• Take appropriate action to collect delinquent payments, adhering to company policies and procedures.

• Ensure premiums are remitted to carriers in a timely and accurate manner.

• Prepare reconciliations in the Broker Management System in line with invoices and/or statements received from markets.

• Monitor and resolve billing discrepancies to achieve a three-way match status on or before payment due date.

• Provide training and mentorship to other team members, fostering a cooperative team environment.

• Utilize strong analytical and problem-solving skills to analyze, research, and resolve complex problems.

• Use Microsoft Excel and other relevant software to perform job duties effectively.

Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Accounts Receivable Clerk or in a similar role.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential.

• Demonstrable experience with account reconciliation is required.

• Knowledge and hands-on experience with Accounts Receivable (AR) are crucial.

• Experience in billing procedures is necessary.

• Proficiency in cash applications is required.

• Demonstrated experience in cash collections is essential.
