Summary The 2nd Shift Production Supervisor is responsible for the daily operations during second shift operations including human capital management, following production schedules and productivity, quality compliance, and maintains a safe and clean working environment.The Supervisor is responsible to accomplish manufacturing results through Employee communication, planning, training, coaching, motivating, counseling, and maintaining accountabilities per Endurable organizational policies and procedures.This position is a working Supervisor position that will be hands on working on the floor with various departments. Essential Duties and Responsibilities 1.Works with employees to make sure work is being prioritized and completed to meet customer requirements and resources are being assigned as needed to meet production schedules. 2.Act as a liaison with first shift personnel and leadership, representing the team in general when interfacing with the rest of the organization. 3.Provide input on resource requirements to support second shift operation staffing levels while meeting overall revenue goals and profitability, including identifying overtime needs and approvals. 4.Provide employee training to support job function requirements and cross training of second shift personnel, including new hire training checklists and new hire check-in reviews. Provide documentation of these reviews to support organizational objectives. 5.Provide productivity goals and daily tracking to support overall customer schedules and organizational productivity efficiencies. 6.Responsible for second shift team members performance reviews and provide input to management where appropriate. 7.Provide the daily paperwork to support operations activities for product identification, tracking and processing. 8.Oversee safe use of equipment and PPE equipment and provide for any maintenance required. 9.Detect issues in efficiency and suggest continuous improvements. 10.Support 5S initiatives and objectives through maintaining and complying with 5S initiatives within department areas for a smooth transition between shifts. 11.Communicate quality expectations and monitor outputs.Any quality defects should be identified, and corrective actions taken as appropriate. 12.Coach and develop direct reports to maximize efficiencies and work attendance per organizational policies and procedures. 13.Always conduct yourself in a professional and respectful manner with all Endurable internal and external customers. 14.Perform other duties and respond to requests in a timely manner as requested Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education and/or Experience *4-year bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience within manufacturing environment. *Proven ability to motivate employees and develop strong working relationships. *Ability to communicate at all levels of the organization and ability to teach, coach and mentor. *Proficiency and experience with Microsoft Office programs required.
