Beacon Hill is seeking a Payroll Administrator with 1+ years of full-cycle payroll processing experience. This is a direct hire opportunity that is a great fit for someone looking to launch a long-term career in the payroll field. The position is fully onsite for training, then it becomes hybrid based on performance. Hours are Monday-Friday from 8am-4:30pm. Purpose: The purpose of this job is to ensure that all field employees are paid accurately, on time, and in accordance with federal and state regulations, and internal guidelines for other payroll deductions. Routine Decision-Making: Routine decisions include deciding whether or not timesheets are accurate, resolving discrepancies, and applying additional compensations according to regulations and policies, such as overtime, minimum wage, paid breaks, drive time, and mileage reimbursement. Essential Responsibilities:

  1. Timesheet Reconciliation:
    • Reconcile timesheets with not more than a 1% error rate per pay period.
    • Complete the reconciliation process for all representatives by the second Wednesday of the pay period.
  2. Payroll Close Process:
    • Work with the Payroll Team to complete the payroll closing process.
    • Import HR demographic information into the payroll system.
    • Review overtime and minimum wage, prepare bonus upload spreadsheet, check for duplicate services and local taxes, update COLA, review paid leave and expense reimbursements, and update direct deposit and W4s accordingly.
    • Balance payroll and send out adjusted timesheet notifications.
  3. Post-Payroll Close:
    • Work with the Payroll Team to complete post-payroll processes within the payroll system.
    • Import payroll data and balance totals, verify tax setup for new hires, allocate local taxes within pay entry, and balance manual checks.
    • Send adjusted timesheet notices, term notices to HR, and OT log to Compliance and HR.
    • Scan receipts into the FaxApp and categorize them into DocLocator.
    • Complete employment verifications, SUI, garnishments, and other forms as received.
  4. Customer Service:
    • Answer phones using appropriate protocol and resolve issues within 24 hours.
  5. Relationship Management:
    • Create and foster positive relationships with employees, including reps, peers, and managers.
    • Ensure all interactions and communications are responded to within 24 hours and are professional and respectful.
