This section contains a list of five to eight primary responsibilities of this role that account for the majority of the work. The incumbent will perform other duties assigned.

  • Monitor product quality through the performance of required visual and functional testing.

  • Maintain a working knowledge of statistically based Sampling Plans and their applications.

  • Promote process control through activities in support of equipment and process validations. These activities are primarily product checks that support or refute validation studies.

  • Ensure the accuracy of measuring and testing equipment by ensuring the equipment are calibrated.

  • Able to handle multiple inspection related equipment upon training

  • Promote continuous improvement through participation (i.e. team player / facilitator or major contributor) in Process Management Team program.

  • Must be able to effectively communicate across all departments and levels of management.

  • Knowledge of GMP documentation and FDA required.

  • Demonstrated attention to details and accuracy required.

  • General knowledge of quarantine and warehouse operation helpful.

  • May be required to work flexible hours and overtime on short notice.

  • Strong working knowledge of basic Quality Assurance

  • Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office (including Word, Excel, Outlook)

  • Organization, interpersonal, and communication skills

  • Self directed, resourceful, detail oriented and able to manage multiple priorities

  • Able to work in a fast paced and results driven environment

  • Able to influence individuals without supervisory authority and motivate outside suppliers

  • Ability to read, write and comprehend English
