Wavelynx Lab Technician in Broomfield, Colorado
Wavelynx Technologies is a leading company in the access control industry, specializing in the design and manufacturing of cutting-edge electronics for credentialing and access control. We seek a highly skilled and motivated Lab Technician to join our team. As a Lab Technician, you are responsible for ensuring the quality and testing of the company products.
This is a Monday through Friday role, 100% onsite at our facilities in Broomfield, CO.
Duties/Responsibilities
Willing to take initiative and capable of working in teams or independently
Proficient at surface mount soldering
Proficient with common electronics test equipment, including oscilloscopes, DC power analyzers, spectrum analyzers
Capable of executing and documenting test plans for product validation testing in a development environment
Capable of executing and documenting work procedures and test procedures in a high-volume manufacturing environment
Develop and maintain equipment calibration schedules for the development and manufacturing equipment
Willing to work cross-functionally in and with other departments to complete tasks dictated by management.
Required Skills/Abilities
Associate/BS degree or equivalent experience preferred
2 years experience preferred
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Familiarity with Excel
ASEET, BSEET or equivalent work experience required
Experience within a high-volume manufacturing environment
Physical Requirements
Required to stand, walk, use hands to finger
Must be able to lift 40 pounds at times.
Must be able to climb a ladder.
Must be able to work on machines requiring kneeling on the ground, reaching into tight spaces, etc.
Ability to differentiate between colored wires, tabs, and electronic components.
Salary and Benefits
This position's salary range is $50,000-53,000 per year, depending on experience.
