Bright Horizons Senior Technical Consultant-Tier 2 Remote in Broomfield, Colorado

The Senior Technical Consultant is the trusted advisor for our clients that will provide technical expertise, implementation guidance, and best practices for deploying eligibility file solutions, including Federated Login. The Senior Technical Consultant is a technical expert for the Implementations team that will work with other team members and collaborate across applicable departments to deliver high quality solutions and outcomes for our clients.

What you will be doing:

  • Consults with clients on recommended practices and policies for how to best implement eligibility files

  • Provides technical expertise to assist with solution design, technical specifications, system configuration, testing, and rollout support of the eligibility solutions for client implementations

  • Collaborates across multiple teams to ensure that functional and technical deliverables are defined well and delivered successfully in support of client launches and post-launch transitions

  • Works closely with Application Consultants to define client configuration requirements as it pertains to eligibility

  • Leads the design and development of best practices and standards with other technical consultants to drive adoption and help with adapting business needs

  • Understands and tracks individual performance metrics to stay on target for each client launch

  • Ensures that the project artifacts and lessons learned are archived accurately to allow for internal knowledge sharing and investment into the knowledge base

  • Mentors and supports team members for technical expertise on more complex projects. Adheres to or improves upon the technical standards, supports the onboarding of new clients, and contributes to a shared library of technical solutions

  • Adheres to the delivery of best practices and standards to support successful outcomes

  • Ability to work with senior management

  • An effective verbal and written communicator

  • Troubleshoot production issues independently and remediate

  • High standard for Service Delivery, be able to communicate professionally with clients

  • Proficiency with SQL, database experience SQL Server, Oracle DB...

What we hope you will bring to this role:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or 5 years of related experience in lieu of degree

  • 5 related years of required work experience and hands on work with related technologies (e.g. SQL development, file ETL, SSO (SAML), SSIS (SQL Server Integration Service), HTML, and Software required

Additional Job Requirements

  • External/internal implementation project background preferred

  • Strong analytical skills and critical thinking to analyze problems, document needs, and communicate these needs to a variety of audiences

  • Demonstrated ownership with driving process improvements and greater standards across projects

  • Ability and desire to mentor team members and establish a standard of excellence for the delivery of the technology solutions

  • Ability to communicate effectively (written and verbal) with demonstrated experience in leading client meetings and delivering a formal presentation

  • Prior working experience with a scripting language such as shell/python

  • Strong analytical skills and critical thinking to analyze problems, document needs and communicate these needs to a variety of audiences

  • Demonstrated experience with developing programs and solutions using a waterfall and/or agile methodologies

  • Must have a proven ability to understand business requirements in a manner that can be translated into a solution design with a flexibility to adapt to new and changing information

  • Ability to prioritize and manage competing priorities and thrive in a fast paced environment

  • Ability to work in a virtual collaborative environment

  • Must have a strong customer service philosophy and skills; thrive in a team environment as well as in an individual setting; demonstrate impeccable organization, attention to detail and follow-up skills; have a willingness to take on new projects; be a self-started, highly motivated, results-driven and goal-oriented, comfortable setting aggressive goals and exceeding them

Compensation Range:

The annual salary range for this role is: $50,000-$65,000
