In this role you will make an impact on our business by creating value, driving efficiencies, and establishing real time data analytics that allow Global Procurement to ‘source better than the competition’ for the products and services we procure for MDLZ. This is done through the management of the Data and Analytics (D&A) organization, and by establishing a clear strategy and execution plan that leverages systems, data, and analytics to drive better than competition sourcing. In this role, you will partner closely with the Mondelez Digital Services (MDS) organization to define the appropriate data strategies (i.e., data architecture, data governance, etc…) to enable Global Procurement access real-time data and market trends. Define the best use of Artificial Intelligence to enhance efficiencies in data and systems management.

How you will contribute

You will:

  • Lead the Global Procurement D&A organization, responsible for streamlining and simplifying our data management approach for Global and regional Procurement.

  • Partner with MDS to define a robust data management strategy, that includes governance structure to ensure accurate data, reporting, and analytics.

  • Define the strategy and implementation plans for how to utilize Artificial Intelligence to improve and simply the Global Procurement D&A landscape.

  • Lead all D&A activities associated with our Digital Transformation journey and support all product owners with defining a robust D&A approach.

  • Key sponsor of our continuous improvement projects, focused on improving our systems and processes, to ensure D&A is maintained and improved.

  • Drive automation through the use of AI and alternative automotive approaches.Define the AI strategy for all D&A activities for Global Procurement.

What you will bring

A desire to drive your future and accelerate your career. You will bring experience and knowledge in:

  • Working experience in a quantitative discipline, data science, and Procurement.

  • Strong background and experience in AI, including implementation within a Supply Chain or Procurement function.

  • Understanding of global D&A strategies and best practices in defining, implementing, and managing the D&A landscape.

  • Strong project management experience within a matrixed organization.

  • Procurement expertise with experience in a broad range of systems and data platforms: SAP, SAP S4 Hana, Google Cloud Platform, Microsoft Azure, Tableau, Power BI, Altyrx, etc…

  • Strong oral and written communication skills.

  • Interfacing with high-level stakeholders (SVPs and more).
