We are in search of an IoT Core PS Engineer. In this role you will be part of the creation and maintenance of our solution, in the Core Network and Connectivity landscape. You will be involved in the development and maintenance lifecycles as well as working towards accurately engineered information systems, containing software as the major component.

What you will do:

  • Method of Procedure (MoP) documentation & implementation through scripts & other tools

  • Network nodes software application upgrades

  • Network nodes software application patching

  • Automate software & patching upgrades through scalable and maintainable scripts

  • Provide input for New or Enhanced Service introduction

  • Early involvement in new services introduction

  • Defining new service test • Involvement in High/Critical incidents resolution and RCA

  • Support in finding root causes and improvements for High/Critical Incidents

  • Involved in Capacity & Performance activities on relevant nodes

  • Participate in CAB or ECAB

  • Continuous Technical Improvement Initiatives

  • Provides KPI definition clarifications

  • Support in matching between High/Critical incidents impact and KPI results

  • Identify improvements in KPIs definition/implementation

  • Supporting CSM during Regular governance meetings with operators

To be successful in the role you must have:

  • Proven capabilities in systems managed services, including management of issues of interconnection, communication, etc.

  • Candidate should be an expert in Mobile Telecom including deep understanding of telecom core networks.

  • Strong knowledge of Core telecom networks, especially Packet Switched and IP domains is a plus.

  • Experienced with SSR based PGW (EPG/vEPG solution or Affirmed solutions)

  • Good Understanding of Packet Core surrounding Nodes (PCRF, AAA, DNS)

  • Good understanding of Diameter Interfaces & Error Codes is a plus

  • Good knowledge of Ericsson EIN (MPBN) solution, especially Juniper SRX&EX and Extreme SW

  • Experience in using various Network Tools & ability to analyze traces

  • Familiar with 5G Core, Virtualization and the Cloud concepts and hands on Virtual Nodes is a plus

  • Good knowledge of Ericsson CEE solution or Openstack is a plus

  • Good knowledge of Ericsson UDC solution is a plus

  • Advanced troubleshooting skills on relevant platforms

  • Three to five years working experience in relevant technology
