Description

We are offering an opportunity in the engineering/technology industry for a Finance Manager located in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, United States. The role involves the management of day-to-day transactional finance activities, leading the finance team, and developing robust financial processes.

Responsibilities

• Manage the daily transactional finance operations, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and Cash Management.

• Supervise cash requirements for the company, ensuring correct funding across bank accounts.

• Lead and provide support to other members of the finance team.

• Develop, implement, and maintain robust financial processes and internal controls to ensure good corporate governance.

• Support month-end and year-end financial close processes for projects, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial data.

• Lead the implementation of financial systems and tools to support transactional finance activities.

• Oversee and execute short-term finance projects, including the implementation of a consolidated Purchase Order (PO) system and expense management systems.

• Provide expertise in US tax compliance, liaising with external tax advisors and legal counsel to ensure all tax obligations are met.

• Leverage financial data to provide actionable insights for management decisions and proactively address operational issues.

• Provide financial guidance and insights to stakeholders and business leaders, including project cost analysis, risk management, and business case development.

• Collaborate with finance, operations, and HR teams to support business objectives and drive financial performance.

Requirements • Possess a minimum of 7 years of experience in a financial management role within the engineering industry

• Hold a CPA Designation or an equivalent qualification

• Demonstrable proficiency in Annual Budget, Auditing, and Budget Processes

• Skilled in Month End Close, Corporate Income Tax, and Corporate Tax Return procedures

• Expertise in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Proven experience in Cash Flow Management

• Proficiency in using MS Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations and MS Great Plains Dynamics software

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong problem-solving skills and analytical thinking

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion in business matters

• Proven leadership skills and ability to manage a team.
