C++ software developer (Safety - industrial automation)
Our development team researches and develops embedded systems and makes applications for CNC-Controllers, which we have to integrate and test on real-time and embedded Linux systems.
Tasks:
development of automated tests mainly in TCL and VBA based macro language
bug reproduction and debugging (through manual testing)
documentation of changes and new features
collaboration and professional consultation with the development team in Germany/Hungary
development of CNC safety functions in C+ Expectations:
conversational English and written German
familiarity with C or C++ ability to work as a member of a team and independently
analytical thinking, proactivity, precise work
intention of learning domain knowledge (e.g. CNC, PLC, other hardware)
Advantages:
script languages (Tcl/Tk, Python)
technology knowledge in CNC
knowledge of standard Unix development tools ((g)cc, make, etc.)
user level Linux/Unix skills
experience in the field of industrial automation
degree in specialization (engineering, informatics, computer scientist, physicist, …)
experience with agile development methodology
OOP knowledge
realtime debugging
computer network knowledge
