We’re hiring an experienced iOS engineer who is passionate about technology and education to help build a new learning experience.

This position is on a new team working on a greenfield project. Initially, you’ll be iterating quickly on a prototype and adapting quickly to customer feedback. As we near launch, you’ll focus on scaling the project to millions of daily active users.

What you will do

• Develop new iOS features, using some shared code from our existing iOS apps (with over 3 million 3 million monthly active users). Our tech stack includes Swift, SwiftUI, Combine, CoreData, MVVM, XCTest, and Bitrise.

• Integrate with Canvas backend APIs built in GraphQL and REST.

• Navigate between building quick prototypes and demos early in product development. And write robust, well-tests, high-performance code for production release.

• Stay up-to-date about the latest technologies, we tend to support the newest iOS features as soon as they come out.

What we look for

• Senior Level Engineer with 4+ years experience developing native iOS Applications.

• Web experience is a plus.

• Deep understanding of Swift, Design Patterns, iOS architecture and CocoaTouch frameworks.

• Experienced with UIKit and SwiftUI.

• Published or participated in the release of iOS applications.

• Ability to mentor and express concepts among cross functional teams clearly and succinctly.

• Ability to work independently, collaborate on complex projects and drive results.

• Computer Science or a related degree is preferred.
