Position Snapshot
Location: Budapest (IX.) and Home office
Education: College or University degree
Experience: 3-4 years relevant working experience (FMCG exp. is an advantage)
Language: Fluent English and Hungarian lang. knowledge in written and spoken
Position Summary
To support the effectiveness of the quality to provide technical support in Consumer Research tests.
Coordinate and support quality related activities with departments in Head Office. Provide support for Factories located in Hungary.
Specialists provide professional support to enforce the Nestlé Quality Management System requirements throughout all functions of the value chain in order to continuously improve in the pursuit of zero defect. Specialists are competent in one of the following disciplines: systems/NQMS, food safety/ HACCP, auditing, hygiene, pest control, product quality, packaging, chemistry, microbiology, sensory or net weight content.
A day in the life of a Quality Specialist...
Implement strategy, standards, processes and activities to fulfill the quality requirements along the value chain or to support businesses developped with contract manufacturers, JVs or Licensees.
Implement continuous improvement programs or activities focused on what consumers value (incl. defects elimination, efficiency increase and cost reduction).
Provide technical support/training in area of competence (e.g. quality & food safety management system, consumer complaint management, technical acceptance of new products, supplier quality management, sensory, food safety, non food items or PRPs)
Audit and monitor the quality processes and outputs against defined standards.
Report and troubleshoot process deviations and defects.
Ensure the reliability and appropriate function of the existing quality system (NIMS) in the HO Budapest, the Hungarian factories and all co-manufacturers. .
Perform Supplier audits and co-manufacturers concerning Hygiene, Food safety, and all quality matters and keep documentation up to date in VAM.
Co-ordinate and taking part in internal Audit work related to NIMS system.
Complete missing documents according the findings of the audits, keep NIMS documentation system up-to date- in the NIMS-DMS system.
Ensure that Nestec guideline policies and standards are taking place in this field.
To act as an advisor for any quality questions / issues for all employees.
Co-ordinate P-test organisation work in HU.
Co-ordinate RQA activity and follow-up based on yearly Plan.
Support Szerencs&Diósgyőr Factories as local Market HACCP Champion.
To support the external Sensory panel focusing for the Beverages area.
Organise basic screening and provide training for the internal and external sensory panels. Perform correctly internal preference, profiling, triangle…etc. tests, evaluate the results, and support the Product development, Quality Control and competitor assessment work.
Support the Consumer Research project from technical part.
Support any external work done for sensory evaluation in case of need.
