About the function

Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Tower is part of Global Business Operations and provides oversight on financial activities and controls including general accounting, management and external reporting and financial planning and analysis. The tower is responsible for the interpretation of financial and statutory data, the coordination and management of financial and statutory reporting, the management of the P&L and balance sheet delivering solutions that will increase insight and transparency.

The role

Did you ever wonder how our products get on the shelf of the Duty-Free shops in the airports? In this role you will be leading all the costs that are related to how our products are represented in these shops.

The FP&A Senior Analyst role is about the Cost of Sales cost line and inventory management for the Diageo products in the duty free shops across the airports globally. You will be also able to work with those who make this happen daily.

About the role:

  • Participate in the month-end close reporting

  • Build accurate forecasts based on request and information collected from the key partners.

  • Participate delivering timely information and insights, forecasting

  • Provide proposal for resolution of issues

  • Participate in delivery of monthly management reporting processes (various BPM reports, landing report, O&R, Extended Working capital and cash flow reporting and forecasting,) also support deck preparation for the related review meetings

  • Participate in the Annual Operating Plan and Strategic Plan preparation and submission

  • Ensure the completeness of profit center/market figures and continuously supervise the respective P&L accounts for any inconsistencies

  • Support the forecasting process

  • Build different analysis as required

About you

  • University / College degree in finance / business

  • 3-4 years working experience in a multinational environment

  • Financial Accounting / Reporting, and/or Financial Controlling experience

  • Proficient English knowledge

  • Strong excel knowledge and ability to lead and analyse big data

  • Basic accounting knowledge

  • Experience with Shared services process activities is an advantage

  • Proven experience with BW, SAP

  • Strong Excel knowledge
