Production Supervisor Shifts Available: 1st shift, 8-hour shifts. Overtime as needed, 75k+, Bi-Weekly Pay + Benefits (Health, 401k, Gym, PTO)
As a Production Supervisor at Randstad, based in our Buffalo Grove facility, you will oversee the daily operations of our production lines. You're expected to ensure our production meets the high standards of quality and efficiency required for on-time delivery, while fostering a safety-first and productivity-driven environment. MUST HAVE PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR EXPERIENCE!!!
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate daily production functions and personnel to achieve production targets and quality standards.
Train and mentor team members on production best practices and safe equipment use, including pad printers, laser etchers, and other machinery.
Collaborate with the supply chain and production teams to optimize production schedules and resource allocation.
Implement and drive continuous improvement initiatives, including Lean manufacturing techniques.
Conduct daily meetings with stakeholders to review production schedules and adjust work priorities to support timely production.
Monitor production processes, ensuring all operations adhere to established schedules and meet quality specifications.
Prepare and present detailed production reports to upper management.
Manage the maintenance of production equipment to minimize downtime and ensure operational efficiency.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; minimum of 5-7 years of production experience with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
Experience in a kitting or assembly environment preferred; familiarity with SAP or other MRP systems.
Detailed knowledge of production processes, machine dies, fixtures, and tooling.
Proficiency in both Spanish and English is preferred, with strong skills in Microsoft Excel.
Excellent interpersonal skills and a proven track record of leadership in a production setting.
Pay: $75k+hr based on experience and qualifications. This position requires an interview.
