Evertz Microsystems Limited Jr. Recruiter and Human Resources Assistant (Contract) in Burlington, Ontario
As a member of the HR Department this role will contribute to the efficiency and effectiveness of the Human Resources Department by providing administrative support. This position is ideal for recent graduates.
This position is for a 12 month contract.
Responsibilities:
Maintaining job board postings and screening applicants
Advertising external and internal vacancies
Scheduling and conducting telephone interviews
Participating in career fairs
Developing and strengthening relationships with local colleges and universities for recruitment of co-ops and new graduates
Updating applicant database
Assisting with full-cycle co-op recruitment – post positions, interview, schedule interviews for hiring managers and extend offer
Preparing training material and packages
Delivering New Hire Orientation
Assisting in company events
Provide administrative support to members of the HR department as needed
Other duties as required
Qualifications:
College Diploma in Human Resources or related
Excellent verbal and written communication
Experience presenting in-front of a large audience
Time management and organizational skills are essential
Strong computer skills necessary
Experienced in Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Outlook
Positive attitude and able to work in a fast paced environment
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Ability to travel locally
